Dr. Shreya Parekh is an optometrist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care with a focus on ocular disease management, glaucoma and retina care, diabetic eye disease management, emergency eye care, specialty contact lenses, dry eye management, pediatric eye care and post-operative surgical co-management. She is committed to delivering comprehensive eye examinations and utilizing advanced diagnostic technology to help patients maintain long-term visual health.

Dr. Parekh earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry after completing her Bachelor of Science in vision science at Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelor of Science in health science, cum laude, at the University of South Florida. She completed an ocular disease residency at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, where she specialized in the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of complex ocular conditions with an emphasis on glaucoma and retinal disease.

Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Parekh completed externships at St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Institute, MacDill Air Force Base and Prado Vision Center, gaining experience in comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management, refractive surgery co-management, specialty contact lenses and post-operative care. She also completed advanced training at the Eye Care Institute at Nova Southeastern University, where she gained experience in pediatrics, vision therapy, binocular vision disorders and specialty contact lenses.

Known for her compassionate approach and attention to detail, Dr. Parekh is passionate about helping patients feel informed, comfortable and confident in their eye care. She is committed to providing high-quality, individualized vision care to every patient she serves.
