Erin Mosellen, O.D., F.A.A.O. joined the team of doctors at MidWest EyeCenter in July 2015.
Dr. Mosellen is a native of Pittsburgh, PA and completed her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL where she graduated magna cum laude and was awarded membership into both the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key optometric honor societies.
Dr. Mosellen completed clinical rotations at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH, an ophthalmology referral center in Fairfield, CT, as well as a private practice in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon graduation, she was accepted into a primary care and ocular disease residency program at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. During her residency training, she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases including but not limited to diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts.
Dr. Mosellen was recently awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2015. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, the Cincinnati Optometric Association, and the Kentucky Optometric Association. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and cheering for her favorite Pittsburgh sports teams.
