Dear Valued Patient:
After much thought and reflection, I have decided to retire from the practice of ophthalmology. Effective Oct. 1, 2026, I will no longer be practicing at MidWest Eye Center.
Since joining the practice in 1991, it has been my privilege to care for patients and families throughout the Cincinnati community for the past 35 years. Looking back on my career, I am filled with gratitude for the trust you placed in me and for the relationships we have built over the years. Caring for your vision and being part of your health care journey has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
While I will certainly miss seeing my patients and colleagues each day, I am looking forward to this next chapter of life, where I hope to spend more time with family and friends.
Although I am retiring, I want you to know that MidWest Eye Center remains committed to providing you with exceptional eye care. If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled with me, no action is needed on your part. Your appointment will remain scheduled, and our team will transition your care to another MidWest Eye Center provider at your current location. If any changes to your appointment are necessary, our team will contact you directly. You may also visit www.midwesteyecenter.com to learn more about our other providers.
If you have any questions or need assistance during this transition, our team is here to help. We are happy to assist with scheduling, medical records, or any other support you may need.
If you choose to continue your care with MidWest Eye Center, you do not need to request or transfer your medical records. Your records and medical history will remain available to your MidWest Eye Center care team.
