Dear Valued Patient:
After more than three decades with MidWest Eye Center, I am writing to share that I will be retiring from ophthalmology. My final day seeing patients will be Friday, October 30, 2026.
I joined MidWest Eye Center in 1992, and it is difficult to put into words what these 34 years have meant to me. I have had the opportunity to meet and care for so many wonderful people, often getting to know patients and their families over many years. I am sincerely thankful for the confidence you have placed in me and for the many relationships that have made my career so rewarding.
As I prepare for retirement, I’m looking forward to a slower pace – traveling, spending more time with family and friends, and simply having more time to relax and enjoy this next chapter.
While my time as your doctor is coming to an end, your care at MidWest Eye Center does not have to. Our team can help transition your care to another MidWest Eye Center doctor and make sure you continue receiving the care you need. If any changes need to be made to an upcoming appointment, a member of our team will contact you.

As I close this chapter of my career, I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to every patient who has allowed me to be part of their care. I leave with many fond memories and tremendous gratitude, and I wish you and your family nothing but the best.
