MidWest Eye Center (MWEC) is pleased to welcome ophthalmologist Dr. Alec Bradley to our team of dedicated physicians. Dr. Bradley specializes in premium cataract surgery, refractive surgery, microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and comprehensive ophthalmology. He is committed to helping patients achieve their best possible vision through personalized care, advanced technology and surgical excellence.
Originally from the greater Cincinnati area, Dr. Bradley was born in Toledo, Ohio, and raised locally before graduating from Covington Catholic High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky, before completing medical school, his internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. During residency, he received the Louisville Academy of Ophthalmology Excellence Award in recognition of his unwavering commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Bradley has contributed to research on cataract surgery, inherited retinal disease, neuro-ophthalmology and other advancing fields of eye care. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and reflects his dedication to continually improving surgical outcomes and the patient experience through innovation and evidence-based medicine.
Known for his compassionate and personalized approach, Dr. Bradley believes exceptional eye care begins by listening to each patient and ensuring they feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout every step of their treatment journey. He offers advanced vision correction options, including premium cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, implantable Collamer lenses (ICL), microinvasive glaucoma surgery and select oculoplastic treatments.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Bradley enjoys staying active through sand volleyball, tennis, golf and skiing. He also enjoys exploring Cincinnati’s local coffee shops and restaurants, as well as taking on ambitious culinary projects in the kitchen.
Dr. Bradley will begin seeing patients at MidWest Eye Center on August 10.
