At MidWest EyeCenter, financial considerations alone should not be an obstacle to benefiting from the advantages that Vision Correction provides over a lifetime. Our goal is to make vision correction affordable for any budget. You may choose any of the following payment options listed below.
Most insurance companies do not pay for vision correction, but please contact our office to see if there is an “in-house” discount for your particular insurance.
Pay in Full
Payment in full is due the week before your procedure and can be paid by cashier’s check or credit card (we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover).
We honor a courtesy in-network discount for LASIK with certain insurance companies. Please ask one of our LASIK coordinators for more information.
We are pleased to offer CareCredit as a finance option.
CareCredit healthcare credit card for better vision
There is an easier way to pay for your vision care including LASIK procedure. We’re pleased to accept the CareCredit credit card, North America’s leading patient healthcare financing program. CareCredit lets you begin your procedure immediately — then pay for it over time with monthly payments that fit easily into your monthly budget. Whether you’re considering LASIK, or need cataract surgery, CareCredit can help you see clearer, sooner.
Your healthcare credit card
CareCredit is the credit card exclusively designed for healthcare services. CareCredit offers special financing on purchases of $200 or more* for healthcare procedures not commonly covered by insurance, including LASIK and Premium-IOLs. Why put off improving your vision tomorrow, when you can see clearer today?

Tax Deduction Benefit
If you itemize your tax return, Vision Correction surgery can be tax-deductible. Check with your tax expert for advice.
If your employer has a flex or cafeteria plan, you may be able to put money away and use pre-tax dollars for vision correction. Most plans allow you to spend the money any time during the year, even when it has not fully accumulated in your account.
If you are thinking of setting aside money in an FSA so that you can save on vision correction; please schedule a complimentary evaluation to find out if you are a candidate. With FSA’s and our available payment options, vision correction has never been more affordable!
